●南無簿伽伐帝．鞞殺社．窶嚕薜琉璃．

缽喇婆．喝囉闍也．怛他揭多也．阿囉喝帝．

                三藐三勃陀耶．怛侄他．唵．鞞殺逝．鞞殺逝．鞞殺社．

三沒揭帝莎訶。

 duo  ye.  a la  he  di.  san  miao  san  bo  tuo  ye.

pi  sha  she.  san  mo  jie  di  suo  ha.

藥師琉璃光如來簡稱藥師佛，為東方淨琉璃世界之教主，因牠手持著藥缽醫治一切眾生的病源，所以被稱為大醫王佛或醫王善道，藥師佛並有日光菩薩和月光菩薩為左右協侍，這是表示牠不分晝夜化導眾生之意。

Medicine  Buddha,  known  as  Bhaisajyaguru  in  Sanakrit,  is  a  Buddha  of  healing  and  medicine  who  made  a  vow  help  those  who  call  upon  him  when  ill  or  injured  and  to  aid  those  who  revere  him  to  achieve  a  long  healthy  life.  On  achieving  Buddhahood,  he  become  the  Buddha  of  "pure  lapis  lazuli"  there,  he  is  attended  by  two  Bodhisattvas  symbolizing  the  sun  and  moon  respectively,  sutyaprabha  and  candraprabha,  to  transform  and  teach  living  beings  in  the  land.  As  worries  will  cause  physiogical  problems  and  imbalance  to  the  body  which  further  lead  to  sickness,  that  is  why  it  is  important  to  eliminate  the  causes  of  sickness,  which  medicine  Buddha  has  the  ability  to  achieve  this,  the  chant  of  the  Dharani and  Mantra  will  bless  one :

.longevity  of  life

.all  phyaical,  physiological  and  spiritual  sickness  be  cured

.misfortune  will  be  pacified
